Firstly, when I heard Egocentric Underneth of Horror, my very first band I think about is Sufocation. Really classy... This Egocentric Underneth of Horror really really like Effigy of the forgotten & Pierced from within album and combined with some modern brutal death music like Disavowed. First song really like Suffo. When I heard second song, Worldviews Mechanical, It has some catchy riffs that would make your day. From their Carcass Arise also has an great riffs and nice beatdown. Next, when you hear Suffer Resurrection, in other side, you'll heard like Terrance Hobbs play those guitar riffs and themn he's gone and then he came again and so on.
Islander on nocleansinging.com said another aspect to take into consideration is the level of musicianship; these guys know what they want and play flawlessly. The guitar solos are just perfect and they come up in parts of the songs when you least expect it, which I think is great, adding a surprise element. You can listen clearly to the bass, which has its own moments; I love both how it’s played and the sound. As for the drums, they sound very natural in this production and play an important role in the album — fast and brutal, and slow, at just the right moments within the structure of the songs.
Last, I think this album is not bad album. There is no bad song on this album. All song are really good. They are worth for praise and we shall appreciate it. They deserved it. Really, man.. They were great. But, if you were an Indonesian like me, absolutely you will recognized it. Yeah, mate.. Bandung Death Metal. They are so Bandung. I think it would be more great album if they try to out from that safezone. Once again, It still a GREAT ALBUM from Viscral and also they are great and skill-fulness.
